HOMEWORK OF THE DAY

So it's me again. with your FAVOURTIE HOMEWORK! :D

I'm typing this while waiting for my piano teacher to come. and i'm secretly hoping that she's not coming since it's already 6pm and she's supposed to come at 5.30. -WHOOPS!- Rachel didn't practice her piano :P

Let's go by subject then.

English

Literature

FFA handout 2 and 2a(from tues when some had to leave)

Mathematics

Complete Math worksheet 3b on Percentage Profit/Loss including Further Practice, Assignment 1, and worksheet 4 on Interest Rates (do in pencil first since it hasn't been taught yet)

HCL

Apparently there's a 选词填空 and 阅读理解 worksheet given out today. while my mouth was being drilled. and no kind soul collected the worksheet for me........ so i don't have it

Chemistry

Complete both worksheets on Ionic Bonding and Covalent Bonding. If you have not, please print out the ppt slides from inet and attempt the questions there. Also, read up on the Chem Textbook about chem balancing (i think i heard ms loh say that)

History

Complete the two History worksheets given out today on the IVC. For the worksheet where lines are not provided, please write your answers on another piece of paper. THESE TWO WORKSHEETS WILL BE CHECKED and another thing about History. Miss Peer said that there would be an FA on IVC today but apparently there isn't. =.= But just continue to read those 5 (or is it 6) articles that she gave us including those today lah.

Geography

Correct me if i'm wrong, but i don't think there's any homework for Geog. Just that if you want the ppt slides that Ms Pang used in class, you should have received an email from Jingyi (or i don't remember who) containing the ppt slides. Since Ms Pang just flies through the ppt slides and unless you write at the speed of uh light(??) it is impossible for you to copy all of that down. And you may also want to read the textbook Chapter 12 on rivers.

Research Studies

Hmm... Well... the teacher DID say something about homework. You're supposed to come up with the research question and design within your groups of 6. and this teacher definitely won't be happy if we didn't do it. So i guess you better do this.

Others

1. Math GA4 - Arithmetic Problems (in other words known as Rate, Ratio) Study worksheet 1 - 3b. 10 minutes. In the form of Math Comprehension (similar to hot and cold cubes example)

2. Jap CA2 - this has nothing to do with some of you. but. just a gentle reminder to jap students. CA2 is NEXT WEEK. Exam format and list of Katakana words to be tested has already been on the E-learning portal for quite long. So. Study people, study.

3. SA dates - If you haven't noticed, the whole year's SA dates and other exam dates (PT, AA, SPA) are on inet. RGS Student Portal > Summative Assessment > 2009 Termly SA Schedule. The first SA will be end of this month, 29 April.

4. To all people who went off to the dentist today during History : Good news for you guys. You don't have to copy the notes off your deskmates because... OUR FANTABULOUS AWESOME SUPERB AMAZING GREAT VICE CHAIR / SL HAS TYPED IT OUT FOR YOU!!!! Sigh.... Aren't you glad you guys got such a amazing vice chair/sl... Unless you have already copied it from someone... but that's good hand exercise too. You should find the email from Yilei in your inbox.

Yeah. So i guess thats it. I tend to write lots of crap. So. Sorry for the lengthy post. You don't really have to read some crap that i write anyway.

So i shall be posting homework due to request from RACHELEE. i shall TRY to post everyday, but i can't on some days cause i have 3rd lang/CCA so will some kind soul help to post the homework instead of me? (hint hint to yilei, yiming, jingyi, or whoever who's often online)

And another thing, i may not be able to post some of the higher mother tongue homework because i do not know what homework there is. and this applies to speechanddrama too.
